Kingston Still On The Radar?

Kingston Still On The Radar?
Reports from Ghana tonight claim that Laryea Kingston is close to signing for Blackpool.

30-year old Kingston, the younger brother of Blackpool goalkeeper Richard Kingson was originally linked with a move to the Fylde coast at Christmas. That went quiet until this evening and it is now being reported that the Seasiders want to finalise a deal to sign the Ghanaian international, who plays as an attacking midfielder or right winger.

Kingston has had a somewhat nomadic career, he has though played in the UK before, with Scottish Premier League side Hearts from 2007 to 2010. He then moved to the Netherlands with Vitesse, however his contract with the Dutch Eredivisie side was terminated in December 2010.

Available on a free transfer, Ghanaian media claim that Ian Holloway is ready to offer Kingston a deal at Bloomfield Road.

As always, stay tuned to Vital for all the transfer news as the transfer window enters the final seven days.
