Seasiders Linked With World Cup Star

Blackpool have been linked to yet another big name this morning. This time it's Robert Koren.

The midfielder is currently at the World Cup with Slovenia and will face England later this month.

Several clubs are said to be chasing the playmaker following his release by recently promoted West Brom.

Koren made 113 league starts in his two-and-a-half-year stint at the Hawthorns, notching 16 goals. One of which was a stunner against 'Pool this season.

Any link with Koren does sound a strange one, given the area where Ian Holloway is least likely to strengthen is the middle of midfield.

However, more players are needed right across the squad.
