'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Pool Interested in Young Arabs Sensation

Sky Sports and the Daily Record have stated that Blackpool are interested in Garry Kenneth.

The Dundee United captain, who is just 22, was on Ian Holloway's wanted list last summer but the clubs weren't even close to agreeing a fee.

Blackpool went in with offers of 75,000 and then 500,000 but look set to offer much bigger than that.

But now with the Seasiders' promotion to the Premiership and the riches that come with it, an agreeable fee could be met with the Arabs.

Wolves are also thought to be interested in United's captain, but their chief executive says not.

'He's not on our list of targets,' said Jez Moxey of Wolves, which paved the way for Blackpool rumours.

This is a story which looks set to run and run throughout the summer if nothing is finalised soon, because of Holloway's desire to sign young hungry players.
