'Pool Set For D-Day Deals

Former Fulham winger Hamuer Bouazza is the man Ian Holloway is likely to capture before the five o'clock deadline today.

He'll bring raw pace and a wicked delivery from the left hand side which 'Pool so definitely need.

The rumours are that Bouazza will sign a two-year deal at Bloomfield Road probably with the option of a third.

Personally I would have the midfielder down as a bigger signing than Charlie Adam - signalling the intent the new manager has. Hopefully that deal will be concluded, but the likes of Sheffield United are chasing him as well.

Whilst a deal to sign Bouazza would indicate a major coup, Holloway is also after a foreign-based player. It'd be nothing new for Ollie to import from abroad with Hungary his favoured country whilst at Plymouth.

Picking up Hungarians proved a decent success, with the Pilgrims selling Peter Halmosi for just over Ł2million after just one full season at the club.

As well as Halmosi, Krisztián Tímár was also picked up and he still serves the club now. Dutch defender Marcel Seip has become a solid Championship performer - signed by Holloway.

So he clearly has some pedigree in the forgein market, but who the player is that we're after or where he is from is a mystery, and the chances of signing him appear to be 50/50.
