MOM vs Cardiff

Blackpool put in a poor performance against Cardiff this Saturday, so it would be no surprise to find out that the winner is a defender, in the form of Ian Evatt, who seems to be making a real strong partnership with Rob Edwards at the heart of the Seasiders defence.

David Vaughan, Keith Southern and Rob Edwards all picked up one vote in what was a one horse race it seemed with the votes.

Ian Evatt picked up a massive 9 votes - 75% of the vote. Evatt gave a superb performance at the back and is really hitting form at the moment.

With his award for this game, Evatt moves into join second in the leaderboard with two MOM displays, alongside Adam Hammill. Steve Kabba is still in the lead with 3 votes, but the way Evatt is going at the moment it will not be long before Evatt catches Kabba up.

Leaderboard:

Name Points
Steve Kabba 3
Adam Hammill 2
Ian Evatt 2
Rob Edwards 1
Ben Burgess 1
Shaun Barker 1
Gary Taylor-Fletcher 1
