The Opposite Corner - Donny Rovers

The Opposite Corner - Donny Rovers

Donny's Performance

When asked about the Doncaster performance, Sean O`Driscoll replied "I thought it was a committed performance, for a few different reasons. There were a few tired legs. They`ve given everything, and that`s all you can ask for.'

Goals

Is the manager worried at the lack of goals? "We created chances again, and we controlled the second half. Blackpool came with a game plan, to make it hard for us. With an aerial option, maybe things would have been different. I probably learnt more in that game than when everything`s ok for us.'

A Point

"It was a hard earned point for us."

Build Up Play

When asked about build up play, the Donny gaffer said "On another day things might have dropped. I`m not trying to make excuses, it`s just fact. We were unlucky. If we nicked a goal, we would have been home and dry."

No Threat From Pool

O`Driscoll replied to a question about Blackpools poor attacking play by saying "They brought Keigan Parker on, trying to give us problems in behind. They came with a game plan. It was a professional performance from us. They were disappointed they didn`t win.'

Draws And Wins

'We need to turn draws into wins.'

Toronto's Thoughts

Doncaster seem to be not too dissimilar to ourselves, as they're are drawing too many games. Their last three games have all finished 0-0.
