Poll results nine

52% of you agreed with Simon Grayson in selecting centre-back Michael Jackson as the new captain. It`s nothing new for Jackson who captained his past two clubs on occasions, Preston and Tranmere. But with the introduction of Evatt into the side it might mean that Jackson will be struggling for a place in the side. Your second choice was Keith Southern with 24% of the results.

In the Forest game when Michael Jackson was substituted the captain`s armband was passed on to Keith Southern, the runner up of the poll. But in an interesting twist it could be Clarke's replacement Shaun Barker who will end up with the role. The former Rotherham defender has so far put in two quality performances for the Seasiders and looks to be captain material.

In our next Poll we look at the combination of strikers that is available to Simon Grayson. There`s no doubt from the first two games that there is a lack of presence upfront and something has to be done quick. So what are the six possibilities?
