Season Review - March

Millers At Home...

We lost 4-0 away in August and a similar performance earned just one point in a bore draw. 0-0 was the score with Rotherham having striker Martin Butler sent off. 19th after this game and looking bleak...

Vale, And A Win...

A certain Gareth Williams made his debut, but only started on the bench as 'pool made a poor fist of the first half. The game was nearly as dire as the week before when Williams came on early in the second half. It didn't take long to announce himself to the Blackpool public. He then on 66 minutes recieved a ball from John Murphy which had crashed against the bar. He had it on the left hand side of the box, turned former seasider Mark McGregor, and hit a screamer past Mark Goodlad in the Vale goal. A massive win. Not pretty, but we moved upto 17th...

Valley Of Doom....

90th minute. See this game out and we'll take a point. A bit gutted that Kwith Southern missed a guilt edge chance, but we'll take a 0-0 and beat Oldham next week. 3 minutes of stoppage time on the clock. 'Pool had several chances to clear before Joe Brown sunk Blackpool hearts when he found the net. Another last minute goal...

To Cap A Bad Month Off...

That man again!!! Luke Beckett showed his class when he poached three goals against a shakey looking back line. It was looking so good for us as well, when Southern scored on 42 minutes with a crisp drive from 18 yards. The lead only lasted 3 minutes, when Beckett grabbed his first of the game. Half time, 1-1, couldn't hold a lead, again.

Second half was dire. 2 more goals from the brown envelope man and that was that. 0 points.

The Month....

Was awful. 4 points from 12. Not a single half decent performance.
