Pool Vs MK-Dons

We all know Scott Taylor will score goals, given the correct service, but will this weak looking MK Dons midfield be able to provide? If Blackpool can nullify Mcleod and Taylor up front, then this will be an excellent platform to kick on for three points.

Vital Quotes:

MK Dons Team News:

Ben Chorley, Craig Morgan and David Partridge have all shaken off knocks for the home team and two out of the three will definitely feature in the starting eleven. Danny Wilson has a fully fit squad to choose from.

Player to watch: Izale Mcleod

Subject to a £1million plus bid from Wolves last month, he'll be keen to keep Championship teams interested in him. Also posed a threat in the 3-2 defeat last time out against The Seasiders.

Blackpool Team News:

The Seasiders will be without long term absentee's Danny Coid and Phil Doughty, along with the sad news that Gareth Evans will not play for 'pool again, due to his retirement after a series of knee problems.

Neil Wood also misses out as he serves his second game of a three match suspension.

Grayson could have Jason Wilcox and Ciaron Donnelly back for the trip to Milton Keynes whereas Matthew Blinkhorn played, and scored for the reserves in mid week. After also impressing in the reserve match against Rochdale, Sean Patterson could be in line for a shock call up to the bench.

Doubts:
Jason Wilcox (groin)
Ciaron Donnelly (hamstring)

Out:
Phil Doughty (leg)
Danny Coid (ankle)
Neil Wood (suspension)

Player to watch: Marcus Bean

After impressing recently since signing from QPR, can he put in another good performance? He should be able to run the midfield against a weak looking MK Dons.

Match Facts & Stats

Blackpool won the reverse fixture 3-2 in a well contested game at Bloomfield Rd with Clarke and Burns scoring alongside a Mills own goal for 'pool. Nicky Rizzo and Wade Small scored for MK.

Ref Watch:

K A Friend is the man in the middle with K G Barnes and J E Pearce as his linesman with G S Evetts as fourth offical. Games: 9 Yellow cards: 25 Red cards: 0

Match Prediction:

3-1 win for Blackpool with Parker, Murphy and Morris all scoring with Taylor getting a consolation for The Dons.
