Simon Grayson has Joe Hart in goal once again, Edge, Rachubka and Evans all still injured.

Good news is that Scott Vernon has returned to training, Pool have had no recognised striker on the bench for the last few games since injury to Burgess and Blinkhorn. David Fox is also back in contention after injury, he played in the mid-week reserve game.

Player to watch: Keith Southern

The midfielder will be vital in breaking up the play in the middle and will be looking to at to his 5 goals this season.

Scunthorpe Team News:

Captain Andy Crosby is expected to return to the team after suspension as is Matt Sparrow who missed the Tranmere game for the same reason.

im Goodwin, Richard Hinds, Ian Morris and Ian Baraclough are all pushing for a starting place.

Player to watch: Billy Sharp

The league's top scorer is looking for his 31st goal of the season to break the 45 year club record of goals in the season currently held by Barrie Thomas. The former Sheffield United forward has set the division on fire this season and has impressive Scunthorpe record of 53 goals in 92 appearances.

Pool are looking for the double over Scunthorpe, after a 3-1 win in December Pool at Glanford Park. Morrell, Hoolahan and Parker gave the away side the lead, a late Baraclough goal was a conciliation after Hoolahan had been sent off on 77.

The last visit of Scunthorpe to Bloomfield was that famous 5-2 win, Grayson first game in charge, Murphy x 2 Morris x 2 and one from Wright.
