Oldham V Pool

Pool look to carry on their good away form in the rearranged fixture at Boundary Park against Oldham Athletic.

Oldham Team News:

Athletic have a trio of players back from suspension, defenders Will Haining and Neil Eardley and former Pool topper Les Pogliacomi.

Ben Turner will sit the match out after picking up a three match ban for violent conduct on his debut against Bournemouth. Chris Taylor is a doubt with a knee injury and may be replaced by former Pool winger Paul Edwards.

Player to watch: Chris Porter

The big forward has been in top form this season with his 19 goals helping the Latics to the top of the League. Signed from Bury Porter has not scored in the last five matches.

Blackpool Team News:

Simon Grayson has the big decision if Andy Morrell starts the game on the bench or on the pitch after sitting out recently due to a thigh injury. He played less than 30 mins as a substitute against Millwall on Saturday but it looks like Ben Burgess and Keigan Parker will continue in attack.

Paul Tierney is going to be out again and his place will go to Kaspars Gorkss, but Danny Coid or Marc Joseph may be in with a shout.

Player to watch: Ben Burgess

The big fella had another chance on Saturday to try and gain a first team place, he didn`t managed to bag a goal in the match but his overall hold up play, flick on`s and defensive work was good. All he needs now is a league goal from open play.

Match Facts & Stats

The two sides shared the spoils this season, Scott Vernon opened the scoring for the Pool, Oldham took the lead thanks to goals from Wellens and Porter. A late Andy Morrell goal salvaged the points for the Seasiders.
