Blackpool v Ipswich

The dilemma Ian Holloway just loves to deal with: after such a confident victory, what should he do with team selection? Blackpool, in all honesty, brushed Leeds United aside on Tuesday; but with the quality within his squad, specifically in midfield, Holloway has to decide whether to stick or twist when he welcomes Ipswich Town to Bloomfield Road.

Isaiah Osbourne and Tiago Gomes have started, and excelled, in both games, but could be rested given the manager's options elsewhere. Scott Robertson, Alberto Noguera and Elliot Grandin have missed out, while Chris Basham has yet to make a matchday squad.

It is to be seen whether the new signing of Banvo Anderson will impact on the front three, but it is evident that the Seasiders need another striker before the transfer window shuts.

Vital Quotes:

Although Osbourne might be rested, Holloway has been singing his praises: 'I've had my eyes on him for years and I hope he can turn into what I think he can.

'He's a bit like Incey (Tom Ince) - he's been at a big club and he got a little bit lost in the wilderness.

'He didn't like it in Scotland and wanted to come back, and to be fair it's the bargain of the century.

'If he can believe in himself and do what he does, he's a fantastic player.

'I'm delighted to have him and he's given us a balance, a blend, and he can play football.

'I've got such a selection problem in the middle of the park now. The awkward bit for me is fitting all these lads in. Scott Robertson is a very similar player to Isaiah and he hasn't had a chance yet.'

Meanwhile, Town manager Paul Jewell says he will utilise the loan market more effectively this season: 'We have had loan players here who have just been with us for part of the season, and that is difficult.

'If we can get players coming in for the season, I think that is a little bit different to players coming in from window-to-window.

'It might not always be possible and we still want to try and buy players.

'But whatever we do, it will be in the best interests of the club. We are not just going to get people in because we need bodies. We do need bodies but they have to be the right ones.'

Blackpool Team News:

Holloway will have Barry Ferguson and Ian Evatt back in contention after injury kept them out of the midweek fixture.

Neither new signings Banvo Anderson or Brice Irie-Bi will be in the squad - the latter was captured for the development team.

Player to watch: Tom Ince

Rumour has been circling around Tom Ince almost as much as it has Matt Phillips, but the left winger has kept his head down and produced two magical performances so far. Two goals against Millwall and being a key figure in both against Leeds, Ince is coming of age sooner than expected.

Ipswich Town Team News:

They signed midfielder Guirane N'Daw from St Etienne on a season-long loan on Friday morning as they fight to keep hold of Aaron Cresswell amid interest from Aston Villa.

Old head Michael Chopra - who scored a last-minute winner at Watford last time out - guides a young Ipswich side.

Player to watch: Scott Loach

After a poor season at Watford, Scott Loach's lot has decreased somewhat, but the goalkeeper has conceded just once in his opening two games this season.

There have been times at Bloomfield Road when Loach has been unbeatable.
