'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sunderland vs. Blackpool

Stadium of Light

28th December

3pm

Preview: Sunderland v 'Pool

Surely another game can't be postponed?! Just in case it is I'm going to keep this preview short so I don't waste too much time...

Sunderland are unbeaten at home but the Seasiders are fresh having last played v Stoke.

Safe travels everyone.

Vital Quotes:

Sunderland gaffer Steve Bruce thinks it'll be a tough game:

'Blackpool haven't played of late so they'll be fresh as daisies. The players know we have to be at our maximum if we are to keep our excellent home record going.'

Sunderland Team News:

Cattermole and Welbeck are definitely back. Richardson and Bramble might be as well.

Player to watch: Danny Welbeck

Has been on form of late, but can the Seasiders shut him out like they did last season?

Blackpool Team News:

Charlie Adam is suspended. Matt Gilks, Billy Clarke et al are still injured. Marlon Harewood might be back though.

Player to watch: Ludovic Sylvestre

Why? See my Liverpool preview. Big game for the lad.
