Stoke vs. Blackpool

Britannia Stadium

22/03/08

Stoke V Pool

The dust has settled from the Preston game, Pool travel to the Britannia Stadium to face Stoke who are currently sitting top of the league.

Stoke Team News:

Tony Pulis will be without trio Liam Lawrence, Ricardo Fuller and Ryan Shawcross who are all serving suspensions. Sidibe is struggling with a hamstring injury, it`s 50:50 at the moment. It means Paul Gallagher, Jon Parkin, Danny Pugh and Andy Wilkinson will be pushing for a starting place.

Player to watch: Rory Delap

Equipped with his long-throw the former Derby midfielder has fitted well into the Stoke team since his initial loan spell at the Britannia from Sunderland.

Blackpool Team News:

Striker Grant Holt is in line to make his Blackpool debut after signing on loan until the end of the season. Michael Jackson is still injured, Keith Southern may return after missing the Preston match.

Player to watch: Ian Evatt

Man of the Match in the Preston game he`ll have to be at the top of his game again. It looks like stoke will be without Sidibe as well as the suspended Fuller, but the threat will be there if big Jon Parkin plays.
