Barnsley V Pool

After weekend off Pool return to league action against Barnsley in-front of the Sky Sports cameras who'll be looking for fireworks at Oakwell.

Barnsley Team News:

The Tykes played on Saturday beating Preston 1-0, a goal from Hungarian striker Istvan Ferenczi proved to be in the winner but plaudits went to stopper Heinz Muller who saved a late penalty. After two away defeats to Hull and Leicester the win moved the Tykes to 10th in the league and unbeaten at home this season bar the opening day defeat to Coventry.

Player to watch: Jon Macken

After so much promise early on Desperate Dan`s move from Deepdale to Manchester City didn`t work out and he moved on to Palace and then to Derby in January. Since the move to Pride Park Macken has only made 4 starts hence the move to Oakwell on loan.

Blackpool Team News:

Keith Southern returns after missing the Tottenham match due to an injury picked up in the Sheffield Wednesday defeat. Andy Morrell managed some minutes in the mid-week cup game but Vernon and Parker may continue upfront.

Player to watch: Gary Taylor-Fletcher

After a few games as substitute Fletch started the Spurs cup game and nearly grabbed a goal at the Lane. A header against the bar and point blank save from Robinson from a volley denied Fletcher his third goal of the season.
