Blackpool travel to Dinglesville for the first derby of the season against Burnley!

Burnley Team News:

Simon Grayson has no real injury problems; Crainey had been suffering a knock but was fit enough to be in the bench for the Hull game. Andy Welsh also is looking to break into the first team sighting a place ahead of Wes.

Kaspers came through 180 minutes of international football, last Saturday against Northern Ireland and on Wednesday against Spain. The Latvian played with a bandage after the nasty cut picked up in the Hull game.

Player to watch: Wes Hoolahan

Fresh from a break Hoolahan is due to good match, Keigan proved to be the main man in the Hull game supplying crosses for both goals. Wes should be looking to exploit the space at 'turf with form Michael Duff at right back looking to stop the tricky winger.

Blackpool Team News:

Steve Cotterill was suggesting in his Thursday news conference that he may rest some of his international players, but he would wait till the players returned to training on Friday to make a final decision. Albanian striker Besart is defiantly out for the year with a cruciate knee ligament injury. The 22-year-old, who signed in the summer picked up the injury while scoring a goal for his country.

Player to watch: Clark Carlisle

The former Seasider returns to Bloomfield Road after a few years, since leaving QPR the Preston born defender moved on to Leeds, Watford, Luton (loan) and returned to the north-west this summer in a 200k move. Carlisle's career has been one of ups and down battling alcohol related problems and knee ligament injury which has hampers the career of the 2002's brainiest footballer. But the big man is back now along side Caldwell in the heart of the Clarets defence and is looking to put one over his old side.

The sides last met in the league cup which was a pretty dire affair, Burnley ran out 3-0 winners, West and Papapadododpoupoulosolo with a brace!

The last league meeting was in the 99/00 season, Burnley won the home match, former Seasider Micky Mellon with the goal. At Bloomers Wayne 'he's got no hair but we don't care' Gill (expect a where are they now from Tangerine Lordy??) scored in the first half but Graham Branch even the game up.

The last win at the 'turf came in 1998, Andy Payton's first half strike was cancelled out by Phil Clarkson and Preson's finest estate agent Junior Bent scored a winner in the second half.
