Pool V Hull

The Sky Sport cameras visit Bloomfeild Road on Monday night as Pool look for a first home win of the season.

Blackpool Team News:

Larry will make changes from the victorious cup side, Kaspers Gorkss should keep his place after his first goals in English league football. Ian Evatt is fit and new signing Andy Welsh may make an appearance. Burgess and Fletch are doubt full and missing the mid-week game.

Player to watch: Kaspers Gorkss

After grabbing a brace in the Derby game Gorkss has cemented his place in the side after a spot in the first team was vacant due to Evatt's injury. Never misses a header and now looking dangerous in the box his main task will be keeping the Tigers new striker quiet.

Hull Team News:

Phil Brown has new signing Caleb Forlan for selection, the former Chesterfeild hit man signed this week from Wigan. Brown will be without Barmby and defender Sam Ricketts. Another new signing Henrik Pedersen might make his debut depending on recovery from Achilles injury.

Player to watch: Caleb Foran

After limited chances at the JJB Forlan has moved for first team football. For £1 million the Tigers will be looking for goals and eventually to replace the aging Windass.

Match Facts & Stats

The last meet in the league Cup and it was now manager Simon Grayson with the winner, a cracking curling left footer from the apex of the box. Jason Price put the home side in the league and Peter Clark penalty evened the games before the first half winner.

The last league meeting at Bloomfeild ended in defeat, Stuart Elliott with a second half brace. Pool managed a league win in the opening day of the 2000-01 season, Ormerod, Murphy and Simpson with the goals.
