Bournemouth V Pool

Blackpool make the long trip to the south-coast this Saturday to take on Bournemouth in League One action.

Bournemouth Team News:

Bournemouth have a long list of injuries which is going to be a major problem going into the festive fixture period. Iconic club captain Steve 'Hulk` Fletcher is struggling with a knee injury, player-coach Eddie Howe also has a knee injury and Steve Foley is also doubtful with a back injury.

Defiantly out of the match is Shaun Maher (foot), Marcus Browning (Calf) and Warren Cummings (leg).

Player to watch: Simon Gillett

Gilly spent the early part of the season on loan at Blackpool, making 13 league starts scoring one goal. He`s now on loan at Bournemouth from Southampton, he`s made four starts so far in the midfield for the Cherries.

Blackpool Team News:

Claus Jorgensen is set to replace Wes Hoolahan who is suspended after being sent off in the Scunthorpe match last Friday.

Apart from that Grayson has no reason to change the starting eleven, Marcus Bean will probably take Jorgensen`s place on the bench.

Player to watch: Andy Morrell

The forward is in a rich vein of form at the moment hitting six in ten. After a slight back strain last week the striker showed no ill effects of the injury in the last match at Scunthorpe.

Match Facts & Stats

Last year Bournemounth put on a terrific away performance beating Pool 3-1 at Bloomfeild Road, a James Hayter hattrick cancelled out an early Tommy Wright goal.
