Pool take on Tranmere Rovers in a Friday night match on the Wirrell, a win could place Pool two points away from the play-offs.

Tranmere Team News:

Kevin Ellison, Steve Jennings, Calvin Zola and Carl Tremarco will sit the game out due to injury. Danny Harrison starts a three match ban and will also miss the game.

Player to watch: Chris Greenacre

The former Pool loanee has hit the back of the net 8 times this season making him the squads top scorer. His last goal came in the away win at Brighton.

Pool Team News:

Mark Joseph is out of the match and won`t see action till the new year due to a eight week injury.

But Simon Grayson has been busy bringing in Vincent Fernandez from Forest on until January and Andy Wilkinson 20 year old full back from Stoke.

Also into the match squad contention goes Gareth Farrelly who has signed a month to month contact.

Pool have two players one yellow card away from a suspension, Keith Southern and Wes Hoolahan have four cards to their names.

Player to watch: Keigan Parker

Parker looked backed to his best in the game against Huddersfield and was unlucky not to add to his one goal in the game.

Last year the teams shared the spoils on both meetings. At Prenton Park goals from Hume and Greenacre were cancelled out by goals from Vernon and Murphy.

At Bloomfield Road at very late Peter Clarke goal shared the points again after Delroy Facey had given the away side the lead.
