Northampton V Pool

Pool look to put their mid-week defeat in the JPT behind them with a return to Football League action away at Northampton Town.

Northampton Team News:

The Cobblers have three out, Sean Dyche, Andy Holt and Ryan Gilligan. Mitchell Cole will be able to play after recovering from illness.

The Cobblers are once place behind the Seasiders in League One, only by goal difference. At the Sixfields they have only managed one win, which, came last weekend against Swansea, 1-0.

Away from home the Northampton have won all four of their games, the best away record out of the 92 league clubs.

Player to watch: Scott McGleish

The former Colchester forward has hit the back of the net six times this season but only one of those six has come in a home fixture, the 3-1 defeat to Tranmere.

Blackpool Team News:

Simon Grayson will bring back some of the players that missed the Accrington tie mid week, Jackson, Southern, Fox, Hoolahan and Morrell should return.

Scott Vernon might return after his ankle knock instead of Parker but Ben Burgess who scored two from the bench against Accrington will be hoping to start too.

Lee Jones might not make the bench after a thumb injury so Edge will take his place.

Player to watch: Wes Hoolahan

A goal scoring performance last week which included a great assist for Keigan Parker`s goal the boys got it so let`s hope he turns it on, on Saturday

Thank goodness they won at home at long last! A draw though would still be ok tomorrow. A win though would surely see us nearing Play Off positions. Whoopee doo!
