Pool V Forest

After the disappointment of the season opener defeat at Brentford can Pool get off to a better start at Bloomfield Road against Nottingham Forest

Blackpool Team News:

It looks like Grayson will not be forced into making any chances to the team that lost out in the capital this weekend.

Once again Murphy (back), Matty Blinkhorn (groin) and Simon Wiles (knee) look to miss the game along with Marcus Bean who picked up a knee injury in training last Thursday which resulted in him missing the season opener.

Player to watch: Adrian Forbes

After impressing in pre-season Forbes carried on his good form into the first game of the season and will be hoping to do the same in the first home game of the season.

Nottingham Forest Team News:

The major team news in that star striker Nathen Tyson is set to miss the game with a knee injury he picked up six mintes into the new season. Calderwood has already ruled out the former Wycombe striker for the match on Tuesday.

Player to watch: Julian Bennett

Bennett scored the winner at the weekend to give Forest all three points over Bradford at home. The young defender / midfielder has been a resounding success at the City Ground since moving there from Walsall in January.

Match Facts & Stats

The sides shared the spoils on both occasions last season, 1-1 at the City Ground, a Parker free-kick was cancelled out by a Breckin header.

The reverse fixture was a bit more exciting with Pool taking the lead through a thunderbolt from David Fox. Ian Breckin popped up with a equalizer only for Marcus Bean to regain the lead with a thunderbolt of his own. Despite Forest having Morgan sent off they managed to grab a late equaliser thanks to Bennett.

Hopefully it should be a great game. Will Forest miss Tyson?
Captain_Jack_Sparrow
Forest maybe without Commons and Tyson but they still have plenty in reserve. It should be a great match.

Got this one down as 1-1. I'd take it now if it was offered. Look out for Grant Holt, he's due one.

Bennett certainly isn't!

The season well and truly starts here!

Then again it starts on Saturday! A relegation 6 pointer this early in the season? Surely not!
