Blackpool vs. Gillingham

Bloomfield Road

6/05/06

End Of The Season.........

On Saturday everyone can expect several hundred extra kids running around near block I and an extra several hundred kids running on the pitch....... Don't want to sound doom and gloom though so I'll start again!

Last day of the season for 'Pool and it would be lovely to see a free flowing football match with 3 points at 5 o'clock Saturday afternoon. We should be capable of getting the points against Ronny Jepson's men.

Vital Quotes:

Simon Grayson on next season: 'Can it be us next year? (Meaning promotion)'

Nice and positive Larry!

Blackpool Team News:

The Seasiders will be without Danny Coid, Phil Doughty, David Fox and John Murphy for the game. No new fresh injuries.

Player to watch: Rory Prendergast

Maybe his last game in a Blackpool shirt, and hopefully he can provide the spark that's needed to inspire 'Pool to a win.

One game doesn't seal a contract, but a good game can do his chances no harm.

Gillingham Team News:

The Gills will be without Alan Pouton, Danny Jackman, Ian Cox and Gary Mulligan. Brent Sanch is also out through suspension.

Player to watch: Michael Flynn

Spent a short spell at the seaside. Steve McMahon wanted to sign him after the loan, but Flynn joined then Division 1 team Gillingham instead.

He'll hope he can show 'Pool what they've missed.
