Deserved at least a point.
Chance at the end to win it but Menga wouldn't release ot to the runners when we werelterally 4 on 2.
Performance wise not much going wrong - some bad decision making in their box when chances are worked well but 5 shots on goal have seen 5 goals v us in the last 2 games. That said they missed an absolute sitter at 2-1 them. Their 2nd goal will be one the goals of the day for sly tonight. Scunny and t'rovers top 4 teams?? We are not a million miles away.

Negatives - goalies. Everyone moans at Allsop and now Williams is beaten again low down to his left. Either get a new goalie or try the African kid.
Hamstrings - Taylor the latest victim.
Delf - he has lost the plot. Confidence looks shot.
Vassell and Cullen are sorely missed upfront.

Positives - Recent improved performances from Frenchie and Longstaff. I'm worried that Longstaff loan future has gone very quiet, I'm hoping it's already tied up and nothing for us to worry about.
Brummie lad - he ran them ragged today.
Tilt he will be the next big thing away from us.
Manager - went for it when Taylor went off it would have been the easy option to bring Anderton on.
Philliskirk - has had 2 or 3 decent performances recently.
MOTM - Spearing. Ooozing class today.

A striker is required Cullen would be having a field day with the chances we are creating.
The rot needing stopping if anything a big confidence boost for Monday.
Performances are far better than our current position.

A decent keeper would keep us up. Simples.

Moaning Plymuff manager - that 94th minute goal was for you
Bowyer sums him up nicely at the death

Derek Adams labelled Blackpool a 'lucky team' after they fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with his Plymouth Argyle side.
Plymouth looked set to inflict another damaging home defeat on Blackpool when they went into the half-time interval 2-0 up, thanks to goals from Ruben Lamerias and Graham Carey.
But Blackpool, who had 20 attempts on goal in comparison to Plymouth's seven, fought back and earned a point thanks to Colin Daniel's strike and Viv Solomon-Otabor's injury time equaliser.
The Seasiders also forced 11 corners to Plymouth's three, while the visitors could only muster two shots on target. But Adams insists his side were well worthy of the win, saying: "I was very pleased with our two first-half goals and I think it's fair to say we deserved the lead.
"They’ve stolen the point in the 94th minute when we should have cleared our lines. "Other than that I don’t think our goalkeeper has had too many saves to make. ?"They’ve scored two scrambled goals and are probably a bit lucky to draw the game. They're a lucky team."

Having been informed of Adams' comments, Blackpool boss Gary Bowyer retorted: “Derek Adams is entitled to his own opinion, but you’ve seen what the stats are. “We’ve had 20 attempts at goal and double figures for corners, so we were obviously very lucky. “I think he’s just trying to kid the Plymouth public in his local paper.”

The $64k question is this; do you think we're good enough to survive Sexy and can we kick-on next season?

I would not attempt to answer for Sexy, but my view being it will be a close run thing unless we sort our goalies out.

I think we will be fine Bear.
Points haven't reflected performances.
Goalie is a concern. Williams hasn't taken his chance.
Vassell doesn't like working over Christmas but once he is back along with Cullen the goals will come. We miss that clinical finisher we also miss someone upfront holding the ball.
Frenchie has had a couple of decent games but he is goal shy.
Lingstaff back to form I'm hoping that deals done for the season.
I think the Os will spend in this window and the reason being that the club is worth more as a 3rd Div club than being a 4th Div club.

I'd take survival with the bonus being thst the Os going.

Basically agree with what SEX says. I've seen most of the games and level of play is better than our league position. I think we'll stay up but off the field distractions are not helping imo.

Goal is a problem - give the kid a chance. I also have a soft spot for D'Almeida. He's got more energy than a ferret with hemorrhoids - but his shooting is poor.

We all hope Longstaff stays for the season but the biggest loss could be Gary Bowyer. His mother thought he was mad to take the Blackpool job! Hope he stays

I actually think we will be mid table at the end of the season. I'm surprised by Derek Adams comments but Id be annoyed letting in a late equaliser. Could tell you some stories about his Dad George Adams and me mouthing at each other on the touch line in The Highland league. I was caretaker for Deveronvale for the last 6 games. and George was Peterhead manager. George is very religious but I don't know if Derek is.

Anyhow Happy hogmany to all on this site and lets hope for the New year most of us want re our club!
