Reading an article on Diesel Car emissions worst Purgeot and. Jeep best B.M.W and Mini..

I wouldn't doubt that Prem but they are cracking down on "fine particles" and NO2 emissions that aren't monitored at present. You'll be relieved to know that this is all EU compliance and once we are out we can behave like China and wear face masks and die younger.

This has really put me off diesel car as I say we bought one in September and I fear that it's value will plummet. The future has to be electric or hydrogen.

Well my BMW diesel which tops the list for cleanest is a twin turbo and has more torque than a Lamborghini Gallardo, an Audi R8, a Ferrari 458, a Porsche 911, a Bentley Corniche etc. And the road tax is £20 a year!!!

The NO2 admissions on my Audi are controlled by having a separate tank in which you put AdBlue

Shame really diesels have come such a long long way from when only lorries and tractors seemed to run on derve. They smelt and were filthy. New diesels perform so much better than petrol economy and speed.

I have to say I don't even know what NO2 is. Audi have clearly thought about it

And not of us would be able to pay our utility bills for the cost of the green levy...

Economic illiteracy that fails to take into account economies of scale, new employment, the health toll and environmental degradation arising from the petro chemical industries etc.

Indeed Prem but less polluting in cities. All electric is the goal. Oystons out too. I'm looking for an eco alternative to tar that will be equally effective when your time comes.

It isn't a necessary fault, it is a delay in improving the technology....if we can put a man on the moon.....
