I read in the Gazette online that not only will there be environmental measurements taken to monitor the effects of fracking but that the health of the local population will be monitored too. How does it feel to be human guinea pigs?

Well at least we'll have mega cheap energy, good paid jobs and the knock on effect with the region will mean folk will be cancelling their holidays to the Côte D'Azure to holiday on the Fylde.

The energy (fracking) college is springing up where the airport terminal once stood. Surely a win win with all them polluting planes out of the way?

1. The EU is still there.
2. The UK is still a member state.
3.The area can be used to house undesirable families like the Oystons.

I see all the unwashed jobless (I'm presuming) scruffs are on the main arterial between Prescum and Blackpool again. That stretch of road is often unlit and is a 50mph road which is soon to be fitted with average speed cameras, but the Police feel it is ok to allow folk with kids and pets to wander around in this apparently most dangerous of roads.

Now I agree with the right to protest, The BNP were given a remote spot on the Promenade surrounded by Police vehicles and a 100m cordon around them so nobody could hear or see them. This was their right to protest! This bunch of grubby, work shy urchins are allowed to block a major highway with no thought for the safety of others.

By all means let them protest but not on a bloody main road!

The filthy work shy tramps shut the main road for 4 hours today!

I'm gonna be ready for them next time, they will get the full force of my wrath! Tw**s.

The Police started to make arrests today after many more closures of one of the two main routes between Blackpool and Prescum was shut off again. Seriously we all should commend our country's right to protest but the constant commuter misery and the use of a high percentage of all Police resources for the whole county to round up these idiots is maddening to say the least.

Like most protesters they will lose common sympathy and support with such reckless actions. Look at the videos if you want to see the mayhem they are causing. Time to change tack if they want to protest against what they believe to be wrong, no longer should they affect normal, hard working folk going about their daily work.

I don't really care too much for or against fracking but I still believe in the right to protest, which in our country is pointless, the higher powers will always do what they want.

What I do care about is the unfair treatment of some protestors v others. These idiots are causing major disruption and wanton havoc. Maybe if it was something I cared about more (like yourself) then yes it may well be the case that I wasn't so agitated by the constant disruption.

The frackers are doing something far worse than disrupting journeys to work, they are poisoning the earth and its life giving water. Wake up and think of future generations.

Supine blanket wearing flask toting Oystonites have no sense of perspective do they? Plus they also tend to kowtow to authority and lack principle. Your stance on this issue is at least consistent with your approach to NAPM but so predictable.

I doubt the Greens would want the support of a convicted rapist with his track record in the community asset that is BFC.

As to your first question, well, it was more of a comment on your general political and social attitudes.

See, it isn't that difficult to answer questions put on here. Try it sometime.
