Yes, its not difficult to see why we play without passion, composure and commitment. The players have no confidence. Having said that, Some don't have what it takes anyway. What a mess eh?

Nothing too much wrong with 1+1 contracts given how itinerant modern footballers are but surely, when activating the option, further extensions should be negotiated if the player is doing well?
Take Cathcart as an example. Had he been offered a new contract when the option was taken up he'd either still be here or we would have flogged him.
