These rules are ones advised by the Vital Football network, and shouldn't cause a problem:

1 - Excessive swearing will not be tolerated. This board is open to anyone with internet access. It's one thing swearing after a match whilst having a blowout - it's another having it in every post regardless of the subject.

2 - If you have a problem with the site, admin, fellow users or moderators you can use the PM function. This is the correct way to address a grievance, not starting multiple threads on the various boards or by having digs within topics. After raising your complaint with a moderator, if you are not satisfied then email jonathan@vitalfootball.co.uk (head of VitalFootball) Arguments within threads will now not be tolerated.

3 - Mods are not paid to do the moderating, and we will not tolerate the mods being abused (unless they pay for the service!). The mods execute their actions based on the guidelines and questions they have asked head admin. Do not abuse them for doing what are asked of them.

4 - This is a forum for discussion. That means most of the time, most of you won't agree. Most people will debate the issue in hand as befits a discussion forum don't make your threads personal. If you are unable to reply without making a personal comment about somebody's belief then don't reply and save us all the favour of having to read it.

5 - On every post you will see an alert button (top right) you can use this to report a post if necessary for the attention of admins and moderators. Please do not abuse the function, not even if you think it's funny!

6 – No racism, facism or any other extremist view at any end of the political spectrum will be tolerated. Sparking racial hatred and debate will not be accepted and lead to a banning order. Racism isn't accepted within society, so why should it be so on an internet forum?

7 - Multiple LOL's, yeah's etc etc are not a suitable answer to a persons comment, either say something or don't post.

8 - 100% Football is for all 'Pool fans to talk about all things football. Off Topic is for exactly that, but PLEASE, keep the random threads and chat threads to one thread at a time, and do try to stay within the realms of the topic of the thread eg, if the topic is about films, then discuss films. It isn't that difficult a concept honest! The Open Terrace is to discuss football with away fans.

9 - Don't abuse others, if you don't like a poster, just don't read/reply. This is meant to be fun and the less the mods have to do, the better the forums are working.

10 - No porn site links or pictures added.

11 – No post boosting please to earn cheap points. A certain senior member has been notified and will refrain from doing so, but that applies to all members!

12 – Enjoy!

Regarding the 12 points above, they will be enforced by the moderators. Moderators will PM members who break the rules to point out which rules have been broken and issue warnings.

If members persistently break the rules after warnings from moderators, they will be banned from the forums.

Moderators will do their best to pick up on offending posts / threads. Due to the volume of posts some offending posts will be missed. If forum members can point the offending thread to a moderator (mentioned above) via PM then the necessary action will be taken.
