Done Deal for Doolan

Doolan has three appearances for the Dale since joining the Greater Manchester side on a month’s loan. He today signed an 18-month contract after a free transfer. In his time at the Seasider the 31-year old made 15 league appearances, one F.A. Cup appearance and started two league cup games.

Doolan, was brought to the club in the summer from Doncaster United by former manager Colin Hendry, he was scouted as the replacement for midfield play maker Richie Wellens who left the in the summer. But Doolan never managed to get into the swing of things and for much of this season has been sat on the bench.
