'If It's Football, It's Vital'

11 Unbeaten!!

11 games unbeaten and another clean-sheet after a whirlwind performance from Paul Rachubka in the 'Pool goal that ultimately kept the Tangerines in the game, denying Leicester with great double saves on more than one occasion.

Keith Southern grabbed the winner on 63 minutes for Blackpool as he netted somewhat controversially in the eyes of Leicester support and management as one of their players was down injured in the build-up - it is now down to the referee to stop play instead of having to kick the ball out into touch.

Seasiders midfielder and new signing Michael Flynn was guest commentator on BBC Radio Lancashire after missing out on the 16-man squad and he was clearly delighted with 'Gnashers'' goal.

Leicester kept the pressure on the 'Pool defence in the 2nd half, however even new signing Dudley James Campbell ('DJ' to you and me!) couldn't break the deadlock as he was denied by a fantastic save from Paul Rachubka down to his right hand side at close range - at least, that was how the radio described it!

For a full match report and opinions from our man at the game, Toronto_Pool, check back later this evening.

Come on the Pool. Great result and above Knobend, lets hope it stays that way this season.

Was Flynn injured? Shocking decision to put Hills in the squad ahead of him if he isn't. Onwards + Upwards

Not sure. I listened to the entire 90 and they didn't mention an injury, just said he was joining them on commentary.

Disgraceful then - GRAYSON OUT GRAYSON OUT. Onwards + Upwards

11 unbeaten, yes... but 11 wins in a row sounds much better! SEX, do you not think Hills got on to the bench because Wes wasn't going to last the full 90?
