'If It's Football, It's Vital'

2 Out On Loan

Simon Wiles has re-joined Macclesfield on loan until 5th January as he continues his road to recovery after a succession of knee injuries last campaign.

It can only come as good news to Simon Grayson also as Wiles will gain valuable first team experience and hopefully return to the club in January as a much better player and can challenge the likes of Adrian Forbes and Gary Taylor-Fletcher for the right wing slot.

Also leaving the club on loan is left back Paul Tierney who has joined Stockport County, according to their official site, on a 6 month loan as he also seeks out first team football.

Tierney has fallen down the pecking order since his injury last season and the loans of Carl Dickinson, Andy Wilkinson and Robbie Williams. Now with the signings of Stephen Crainey and John Hills, he finds himself as 3rd choice left back with a very unlikely chance of first team football in The Championship.

I never thought I'd hear you say that Dave, what about your mate Hillsy?! :P Wilesy is the hottest prospect for many a year and I hope he does have a future with us!
Jerry
Not surprised to see Tierney. Never been impressed. I personally think Wiles has got an opportunity to make it if he's fantastic. But i doubt he will. Bring on the GTF.

Coz lets face it...... Forbes was average and we need another quality winger!
