Danny Coid has signed a new contract with The Seasiders. The 25 year old was offered a new deal a couple of weeks ago, and despite interest from Tranmere Rovers amongst others, the Liverpool born utility man will stay at Bloomfield Road for at least another season, and one after that if the club take up the option on him.
Coidy made 15 league appearances last season, due to injury and then a failure to get back into the side because of the amazing run 'Pool put together once he did get back fit.
Our longest serving player - Coid has played in the tangerine shirt over 250 times, and was once linked with a move to home town club, Liverpool.
Injury has hampered his footballing career in recent times, but Simon Grayson still describes Danny as a 'real asset'.
