Return of Rory
Prendergast, 27, who has stayed at The Shay for the past two months on loan will return to the seaside on Thursday and fight for place in the first team. While on loan Rory played seven games of for Halifax and picked up one yellow card.
Manager Simon Grayson commented on Prendergast’s decision to stay on the clubs official website,“Rory turned down the offer of a permanent contract with Halifax, he wants the opportunity to try and make a living in League football. Whether he comes back and plays his way into our plans remains to be seen.”
