'Pool get 'Udders

'Pool get 'Udders

The match is set to take place on the week commencing 13th August this year - not long after the start of the season.

'Pool played Huddersfield 3 times last season, coming out on top on all occasions. A Wes Hoolahan penalty sealed the victory in the FA Cup First Round in torrential rain, whereas later in the week, 'Pool came out on top again in a 3-1 victory in front of the Tangerine faithful at Bloomfield Road.

Late on in the season, Blackpool travelled back to the Galpharm and recorded a 2-0 win in front of more than 3000 travelling fans.

Hopefully this bodes well for the Seasiders as they look to kick off their first campaign in The Championship for 29 years, not only in the league, but by progressing as far as possible in the cup competitions also.

Elsewhere in the draw, that team from up the road - Pres*on I think they're called - have been drawn at home to newly-promoted Morecambe. It will be interesting to see whether Blackpool lad Matty Blinkhorn will be playing for Morecambe in that tie.

John Murphy will be facing off against that small team from Yorkshire - Leeds - as Macclesfield have been drawn at home to the newly relegated League One side (how sweet does that sound!).
