Blackpool Round Up

Whinging his way to Brighton.

Andrew Whing snubbed a move up north to Blackpool to join Brighton this week. Whing spent the latter part of the season just gone at Brighton on loan from Coventry and expressed that the move to Brighton was down to the management team at Brighton.

"Dean Wilkins (manager) and Dean White (assistant) kept in contact. They have showed great interest in me.

"I feel I can talk to them and it is a big thing for me to have a manager and staff who want me. That was the big reason.

Whing, a defender, had generated interest from League One sides Wallsall and Leeds (love putting that!).

Build it KO, and they will come

The south stand, which currently is a baron wasteland will be the developed area, with the possibility of a "permanent element", we`ll wait and see KO.

Movers and Shakers

In the transfer market there has been a bit of activity regarding Blackpool. Former Pool defender Paul Edwards moved to Port Vale from Oldham, former loanee Danny Graham moved from Boro to join Carlisle where he will play alongside Danny Carlton a former Pool target.

Carlton moved form Morecambe on a free, will go to a tribunal as he`s 23, and now Morecambe have targeted Pool`s Matty Blinkhorn as a replacement.

The Pool forward spent some time on loan down the road at Morecambe and is currently looking at a new contract at Bloomfeild Road.
