Celebrations the Blackpool way

The only way to celebrate in style in Blackpool is with an open top tram along the promenade, it was the same in 53` when the F.A. cup was brought back by Stan and co. This time there wasn`t as many onlookers but the turnout for a Tuesday afternoon was brilliant none the less.

The players made their way up the prom, south to north, stopping at North Pier to go to the Town Hall to meet the Mayor and dignitaries. The highlight of the day came in the town hall, a surreal event. Wes Hoolahan minus shoes and socks danced a jig with Claus Jorgensen backing him on the harmonica. For the video see the Evening Gazette article.

Platos was on hand to catch the action outside as the players arrived at North Pier. If you have any photo`s from the Play-offs, tram ride or presentation night then you can upload them to your own album, all you need to is an account with vital.
