Grayson to stay in charge till May

Following the departure of Colin Hendry last November the former Blackburn Rovers player was appointed caretaker boss and has managed to slightly improve the fortunes of the Seasiders.

Speaking on the clubs official site, Chairman Karl Oyston said 'We have been impressed with the way Simon has conducted himself over the last couple of months. He has worked tirelessly on and off the training ground and I feel we are beginning to see the rewards for his efforts.

The players have responded to his style of management and coaching and I believe with the support of everyone connected to the club he can guide us away from the relegation zone.'
