Men In Black

Ray Olivier is the first referee to have officiated the Seasiders twice during the Men in Black feature. How did he do on Saturday?

The West Midlands based referee was controversial as ever at Bloomfield Road as he sent two Tranmere Rovers players off, and also disallowed a Rovers goal. However, his performance (unsurprisingly) was met with joy from 'Pool fans!

On New Years Day, Olivier took charge of the game away at Chesterfield, and was rated at 1/5 by our forum members. However, he achieved a respectable mark of 3.5 for Saturday`s performance.

His overall MIB rating is now: 2.25

Vital Quotes:
"He handled the match really, well, a few decisions that left one a bit puzzled, but for the major incident he handed out the correct punishment for the correct players."
JCampbell

"Average performance - handled the caffuffle well, but some decisions - like players leaning in on our defenders and elbowing our midfielders - Foxy's injury!!! - really baffled me."
Jerry

"He missed a lot of their rough house tactics especially their 15 and 9"
PickeringHatrick

"He is lucky to get a 3/5 from me has linesman got him out of a worse mark. He missed The Morell, and Fox incidents. If he had given a yellow for either of them two then it just may have stopped the rest of ht goings on."
