A Hamstring For Rabs

Breaking news - from our sources close to the club - is that Blackpool loan star, Paul Rachubka will be out for some time with a hamstring injury.

Unfortunately, the diagnosis we have been given is extremely vague and that he's "done his hamstring", and we can't be anymore specific! Six weeks is the supposed timescale he'll be out for.

The goalkeeper has been key to The Seasiders' success recently and has turned in some magical performances in his short time at the seaside.

The Huddersfield player's injury is said to be serious and will keep him out for a number of weeks, with his recovery time going past the end of the season.

It was only last week that Terriers fans on their Vital website were begging for the Town stopper to be recalled.

With the loan window now shut, Simon Grayson only has the under-fire Rhys Evans as a realistic inclusion as goalkeeper.

Evans, who has recently been suffering from a virus (so say the club, I think otherwise!) will be thrown straight back in to the starting eleven tomorrow for the home clash against Tranmere Rovers.

With Lewis Edge now back at Bloomfield Road, and the crowd not keen on Evans, it could lead to an opening for the former YTS lad.

If we get anymore news on this, you'll be first to know.
