Reaction To Robbie

With the news Robbie Williams will be signing for The Seasiders tomorrow, Chris from Barnsley Vital talks to us.

Robbie Williams' loan signing to Blackpool until the end of the season won't take many Barnsley fans by surprise.

Williams has made 78 appearances for the reds since making his first team debut in 2002 finding it hard to keep a regular starting place, and he has been used as a back up player.

However, he has scored 5 times in that time and he has got a sweet left foot on him when given the chance to shoot.

In my opinion as the editor of Vital Barnsley site, i think he will be a good acquisition for your club, it is your best season for some time and you have a real possibiltiy of promotion.

Williams isn't the most consistent of players i must admit, however, when he plays well he is a talented individual who can really impress. His pace and the power of his left foot are his most noticable traits and could stand him in good stead wearing orange.

This loan deal is good for the player because of his limited opportunity at Oakwell and it is good for Blackpool because you will be acquiring a talented youngster who will always put the effort in for you.
