'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Reaction To Brandon

After Huddersfield winger Chris Brandon signed for the 'Pool earlier this afternoon, we've caught up with Jon Ski from Terriers Vital.

He isn't best pleased with the decision...

Former Town manager Peter Jackson said that 'Brando' is one of his shrewdest ever signings, the midfielder joined Town from Chesterfield in 2004/05 and was one of only two signings made by the Town boss after promotion. A tricky midfielder who will tirelessly cover every blade of grass over 90 minutes, the 30 year old also has a keen eye for goal. His creative flair mixed with his combative style, and boundless positivity has made him a real hit with fans and management.

This could be why he's gone to Blackpool, the fact he was a Jackson favourite and now Jackson's gone.

On the down side his quick temper and style have seen him pick up 6 yellows from his 17 appearances this term and surprisingly only one goal. He has just recovered from an Achilles problem, and his lack of starts are more down to injuries than form, which could be another clue as to why we are prepared to let him go.

I would expect any club at our level to get another season or two of good services from Brandon, he will certainly be a good addition to your first team squad, depending on the players you have. He can play wide or central midfield or tucked in behind the front two, his ability to put in and feed forwards is a real asset.
Frankly I am stunned we have let him go, and so I would have to congratulate your manager on capturing him, your chances of making the play off's have just gone up in my view.
