Match Day Officials v Newport (18/3/17)

The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Newport County this Saturday.

Blackpool travel to Newport County on Saturday March 18 for the game at Rodney Parade and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Brett Huxtable
Linesmen: Thomas Harty and Lisa Rashid
Fourth Official: Paul Hobday

Match Day referee Huxtable is new to the Football League in 2016/17 having spent last year in the National Conference.

So far this season he has officiated 32 games with a return of 116 yellow cards and two red cards.

His highest card count this season so far was eight yellows in the game between Yeovil Town and Colchester United. Seven yellows and one red were shown in the game between Oxford United and Oldham Athletic.

He took in 20 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 37 yellow cards and one red card.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
