Men In Black

Mr Taylor was the man in the middle on Saturday afternoon as The Seasiders fired a blank with The Seagulls.

Taylor, based in Manchester, kept his cards in his pocket all game which is surprising as prior to the game he had brandished 70 yellows and 5 reds in his 21 matches.

Thoughts and ratings:

'A whistle happy, over officious referee who put himself at the centre of everything and didn't let the game flow. No yellow cards was his only saving grace.'

'Compared to most we see at Bloomers he was ok - 4'

'3 he was strong in his decisions and got the majority of things right. One of the best at Bloomers this year.'

'Thought he did ok! I was puzzled at his refusal to give handball decisions though, there were a fair few obvious handballs from both sides that he chose to let go. 3/5 Would have been 4 if not for the handball decisions.'

'2.5 ...but a little reluctant. I really could not believe the 5 mins lectures to players. It held the game up badly. Also the continual fouls on Forbes and a few more of our players should have produced yellow cards.'

'3.5 from me ,one of the best we have had in a while ,kept missing their players pulling ours all over the place and no need to lecture our star player Super Aidie'

'3/5 - average. He missed a few challenges from their players that warranted a yellow card, a few late challenges for example. no bookings are better than a bucket-load though.'

MIB Rating: 3.23

The Men In Black ranking table will be up later tonight.

Platos, I know you're getting older....but never knew you were blind! '2.5 ...but a little reluctant. I really could not believe the 5 mins lectures to players. It held the game up badly.
