The Championship Results Tonight

The Championship Results Tonight

Two important relegation battles tonight in the championship, that could affect the future of Blackpool in the Championship.

Charlton took the three points and have made themselves safe with a 3-1 win at home to Watford.

Depending on which way you look at this one it could either be good news or bad news for Blackpool. This takes one more team out of the relegation places, therefore pushing Blackpool further down a place. But could also mean that now the pressure is off Charlton slightly they may now loosen up and not have to play to their full potential on Saturday.

The best news for Blackpool at the bottom came from St Andrews where Birmingham, who are in dire need f points kept themselves 3 points away from Backpool with a loss at home to Wigan Athletic, who have now finally confirmed their places in the Play Offs.

For the worst now to happen to Blackpool, and for them to be tasting League One football next season, Birmingham, Millwall and Doncaster all Must win and Blackpool will need to lose to Charlton at home on Saturday.
