Blackpool V Wigan - A view from Wigan

Blackpool V Wigan - A view from Wigan

Where do you think you will end up this year?

Hopefully automatic promotion, we definitely have the squad to achieve this, we may have a problem with the amount of games we will be faced with, the Europa League will undoubtedly take its toll, being realistic I'd probably say play-off spot but I am a supporter not a realist so top two!

Where do you think Blackpool will end up this year?

I work with a couple of Blackpool season ticket holders and they are
surprised by your start to the season, they tell me that they can't see it being sustained due to the size of your squad, maybe they are pessimistic types, but I would say that with Ricardo Fuller up front and a solid defence you'd have to be looking at least at mid-table with an outside chance for a play-off spot

Do you have any injuries?

Do we! Ali Al Habsi, Gary Caldwell, Ivan Ramis and Shaun Maloney are all definitely out with long term injuries, Grant Holt has just returned following a lengthy lay-off and may not be match fit to start, Antoine Fortune has a hamstring strain and Callum McManaman had a virus which knocked him for six, hopefully he has fully recovered from this in time for Saturday

Who is your danger man this season?

Danger men, Shaun Maloney is the class man, but he is injured, Nick Powell on a season loan from Manchester United is absolutely top draw and will cause problems from the front, Jean Beausejour has been playing at the top of his game of late and he bangs in some quality crosses, Callum McManamans season has been interrupted by suspension, injury and illness but once he gets going I am very hopeful that he will be the main man

If you could have any pool player who would it be and why?

Tom Ince is the guy that everyone raves about, quick, dynamic and an eye for
goal; he'd make a great addition to our squad

Finally what is your prediction?
