Gosling joins the seasiders

Blackpool have today announced the signing of Dan Gosling from Newcastle United on a 3 month loan period.

Gosling will play for the seasiders until January after agreeing a deal yesterday.

The 23 year old right midfielder is adaptable to other positions and can also play in the right back position. Gosling started his professional career in 2007 when Ian Holloway noticed his talents from the youth team at Plymouth Argyle, and then wen on a year later to sign for Everton on a two an a half year deal. His first premier league goal came 2 days later in the 3-0 win over Sunderland, which also earned the midfielder a standing ovation by his own team mates in the dressing room.

The mdfielder has made 89 appearances over 3 clubs, and has scored nine career goals, seven of which were in the premier league.

Gosling will go back to his parent club Newcastle United January 2014.
