Pool set to use loan market

Pool set to use loan market

Blackpool are set to look into the loan market this week, to replace players who are side-lined due to injury, according to the Blackpool Gazette.

Midfielder Barry Ferguson is to travel to London this week to have a scan on his ankle. The Injury could keep him out for up to 4 weeks, and defender Bob Harris will be out for a few months after having an operation on his shoulder during the week

Angel Martinez will also miss Tuesdays home game against Bolton Wanderers due to suspension after his second yellow card last night against Huddersfield.

Assistant Manager Rae told the gazette that he is hopeful that something can be one before Tuesday.

"It`s a case now of looking to the loan market to get one or two in to help us out.'

"We will sit down over the weekend and look at things now. Obviously Angel (Martinez) will miss Tuesday after his sending off, so we are a little short on numbers."

"Obviously we want to get Barry back sooner rather than later, but we`ll have a better idea on Monday."

To add to pools bad luc with injuries, pool were forced to make a change to their starting line up for the second game running with Issiah Osbourne coming down with illness.
