Evatt to join Chesterfield

Evatt to join Chesterfield

It has today been announced that Ex Blackpool defender Ian Evatt will join Chesterfield, after agreeing terms. Evatt will sign tuesday morning.

Evatt had been ever present in Blackpools defence for 7 years playing over 200 games for Blackpool, scoring 7 goals, and played a big part in Blackpools rise from League One to the Premier League.

Injury forced him out of last season, and was released from Blackpool on medical grounds at the end of the season, something that dissapointed many fans.

He is now poised to re-join Chesterfield who he played for between 2003 and 2005, playing 84 games.
