Liberty Crossed Off?

One destination that Thomas Ince wouldn't appear to be heading to this summer is the Liberty Stadium, as a Swansea player anyway!

Reports on Monday suggested that Swansea had joined the race to sign the winger, they'd even matched Cardiff's reported 8m offer? However that might be wide of the mark.

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins had admitted that he's been "staggered" by the asking price for the 21-year-old and his comments to TalkSPORT seem to all but rule out him joining the Welsh side, even though Michael Laudrup is very keen to sign him.

At the moment this leaves Cardiff in the box seat though with it uncertain if Liverpool are in or out of the race to resign him!

I see that the story appears over an advert for an editor. You should try to get one who knows the difference between Swansea manager Michael Laudrup and his brother, Brian.
