Will Pool Get Enough Players In
With several of Blackpool's squad from last season refusing to sign new deals and choosing to move on, the need for players at Blackpool is huge. With the transfer window soon to officially start, Pool will need at least some investment to put together a full squad in time for the new season.
Ludovic Sylvestre, Neal Eardley and Alex Baptiste have already chosen not to stay at Blackpool next season with Kirk Broadfoot, Stephen Crainey and Gary Taylor-Fletcher yet to put pen to paper on a new deals.
Blackpool are now short in a number of positions and will need to sign more than the usual amount of players if they are to challenge next season, manager Paul Ince told the Blackpool Gazette: 'most managers have most of their players from last season and are looking to add two or three. For me it's eight nine or ten'.
Ince will certainly need to be backed my chairman Karl Oyston to at least some extent if the club are to finish in a respectable position next season and with only Gary Mackenzie being strongly linked with the club, fans will again begin to wonder whether the club will sign the quality of player they desire.
