Revenge Is A Dish Best Served Cold.
Well, the FA Cup can through up some fixtures. And what an opportunity awaits the Seasiders. If Michael Appleton can navigate Blackpool through the replay with Fulham on his self-appointed cabbage field, a mouth watering tie either away to Manchester United or West Ham United awaits.
Of course Blackpool have form against these two teams. A final day of the season loss at Old Trafford in the Premiership season condemned Blackpool to relegation. One year later, the prospect of a return to the promised land was snatched away at Wembley by Allardyce's West Ham.
Of the two, most fans will probably hope for a tie against Manchester United, either way, there is no an added incentive to get past Fulham. Will the cabbage patch help to hinder that quest? Time will tell.
